U.S. Stealth F-35 Hit in Suspected Iranian Strike, Dramatic Emergency Landing Shakes Middle East War

Tensions in the Middle East have sharply escalated after a U.S. F-35 stealth fighter jet was reportedly struck during combat operations over Iran and forced to make an emergency landing at a regional airbase, in what could mark a significant turning point in the conflict.

According to U.S. military officials, the advanced fifth-generation aircraft was carrying out a mission deep inside Iranian airspace when it sustained damage—believed to have been caused by Iranian air systems or surface-to-air fire.

Despite the hit, the pilot managed to maintain control of the jet and safely land at a U.S.-controlled base. The pilot is said to be in stable condition, and an investigation into the incident is now underway.
