The Lagos State Police Command has kicked off activities marking the National Police Day 2026, themed “Community Partnership: Building Trust”.
The event aims to foster public trust, honor fallen officers, and showcase the Nigeria Police Force’s operational capacity.
Scheduled activities include sanitation drives, medical outreach, walkathons, and public sensitization campaigns on security concerns and safe driving practices.
The celebrations will culminate in a grand parade and tactical display in Abuja on April 7, 2026.
CP Tijani Fatai, the Commissioner of Police, invites the public to participate in the events, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to enhance trust and promote peace in Lagos State.
