Why Tinubu Skipped Lagos Event: Aide Reveals What Really Happened President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was noticeably absent at a project commissioning in Lagos on Wednesday, sparking questions about why he missed the high-profile event.
But according to his aide, the President had a more pressing matter on his hands.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, the Special Adviser on Public Communications and Orientation, Sunday Dare, explained that Tinubu stayed away from the ceremony because he was locked in ongoing security briefings.
Dare confirmed that although the President is currently in Lagos, he has been deeply engaged in handling critical national issues behind the scenes.
“Yes, the president is in Lagos, and beyond the photos circulating online, he has been busy with serious state matters,” Dare said.
He noted that recent security developments across the country demanded the president’s immediate attention, especially in the wake of violent incidents, including the recent attack in Jos.
According to Dare, Tinubu has spent the past several days receiving continuous updates from security agencies and intelligence officials.
He added that the President is closely monitoring the situation nationwide, working with the intelligence community and holding frequent security briefings as part of efforts to address the growing concerns.
