Influencer Ola of Lagos has cancelled the rest of his Europe tour after thieves stole €9,000 ≈ ₦14m+ from him.
The “soft life king” took to his Snapchat story to break the news. According to him, the robbery happened despite visiting 4 countries, taking multiple flights and trains in one day.
“Europe Tour cancelled… I just discovered I’ve been robbed… 9000 Euros (14 million Naira plus). But man, whoever robbed me is smart and fast… I clapped ” he wrote.
Ola said the incident happened even in a Business class train, so no location is 100% safe. He’s now warning fans to be careful when travelling abroad.
His advice to travelers:
“If you’re traveling anywhere in Europe, please go in a group. Some people should watch out for others, some should keep an eye on the bags. Move as a team. Lagos dey learn for Europe side, I confirm am ”
He also revealed that a friend lost €100k + Cartier jewelry to robbery at a gun point, while his own loss was “just €9k lol. No gun, no pressure.”
