Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Unveils Tsion Electric Cars as Christ Embassy Enters Auto Industry

LAGOS, NIGERIA: Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder and president of Christ Embassy, has unveiled a new range of electric vehicles under the Tsion brand, marking a major expansion of the ministry’s activities into automobile technology and innovation.

The vehicles were unveiled during The New Economy Unveiling 2026, an event focused on economic development, innovation and the role of the church in the marketplace. Reports of the unveiling emerged online this week, attracting significant attention across Nigeria and beyond.

Among the vehicles showcased were the Tsion Passion, Tsion Falcon, Vision Series, Vision Coupe and OG Series. The lineup features different vehicle designs, including luxury SUVs, sports cars and coupes.

During the presentation, Oyakhilome explained that “OG” means “Of God.” He also indicated that some aspects of the vehicles were still being refined, including the steering wheel design on one of the models.

The unveiling represents a significant move beyond Christ Embassy’s traditional religious activities, placing the organisation in the growing conversation around technology, entrepreneurship and electric mobility.

The development has also attracted reactions from other Christian leaders. Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Centre described the initiative as evidence of the church’s ability to participate in the marketplace and contribute solutions beyond the pulpit.

Nigeria’s electric vehicle sector is gradually attracting greater interest as the country looks for alternatives to petrol- and diesel-powered transportation. The Tsion project now adds another notable development to that emerging industry.
