ASABA, Delta State, Nigeria — Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has joined his Delta State counterpart, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and his family in Asaba to celebrate the wedding of the governor’s son, Innocent Oborevwori, and his bride, Tobore Arigbodi.
The colourful wedding ceremony brought together family members, friends, political associates and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the couple as they began their journey into married life.
Uzodimma, who was among the dignitaries present at the occasion, described the celebration as colourful and memorable, noting that the atmosphere was filled with joy, love and prayers for the newlyweds.
Sharing his goodwill message after the event, the Imo State governor said the gathering reflected the importance of family, friendship and unity as guests came together to celebrate the union of Innocent and Tobore.
“I joined His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Delta State Governor, and his family in Asaba to celebrate the wedding of his son, Innocent Oborevwori, and his bride, Tobore Arigbodi,” Uzodimma said.
He added that the occasion was marked by the presence of family members, friends and people of goodwill, all of whom joined the Oborevwori and Arigbodi families in offering prayers for the couple.
“It was a colourful and memorable occasion, marked by joy and the gathering of family, friends, and people of goodwill, praying for God’s continued love, grace, and fulfilment upon their union,” he said.
Uzodimma also prayed for God’s blessings upon the couple, expressing hope that their marriage would be built on love, peace, understanding and mutual respect.
“May their home be blessed with enduring happiness, mutual understanding, and abundant blessings,” the Imo governor added.
