Comedian and content creator Carter Efe has been hit with a major blow after TikTok permanently banned his main account on Wednesday, September 9.
The account, which boasted over 5.6 million followers and 158 million likes, was removed for what the platform described as “multiple violations” of its community guidelines. TikTok has since confirmed the ban.
For Carter Efe, the loss is huge. The account was one of his biggest platforms where he built his brand through viral comedy skits, music promotion, and non-stop live broadcasts. News of the ban quickly sparked reactions online, with fans and fellow creators expressing shock that an account of that size could just vanish.
This isn’t the first time the skit maker has been kicked off the app. In June 2025, a previous account with 3.5 million followers was also deleted after a controversial livestream where he made comments about singer Wizkid. That incident led to mass reports from Wizkid’s fanbase, and Carter Efe later issued a public apology.
Despite the setback, Carter Efe hasn’t gone offline completely. He remains active on other platforms, including Twitch, where he’s been growing his livestream audience.
TikTok is yet to publicly state the exact videos or actions that triggered the latest ban, so the specific reason for the removal remains unconfirmed.
