Soludo Appoints 39-Year-Old As Anambra State’s First Female SSG

The Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed Mrs Chiamaka Nnake as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG), making her the first female and youngest person to hold the position.

Nnake, 39, previously served as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, where she drove socio-economic development through effective resource allocation.

She also held key leadership roles in various state boards, including the Internal Revenue Service Board and the Small Business Agency.

The first female Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in Anambra State is a seasoned finance and public sector professional with over 13 years of experience in finance, strategy development, and economic planning.

She holds a First-Class degree in Accounting from Benson Idahosa University and an MBA from Lagos Business School.

She’s a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), completed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme, and attended executive training at Harvard Kennedy School.
