London Shock: 26-Year-Old Gunned Down in Car Near Euston in Late-Night Attack.
A quiet night in central London turned deadly after a 26-year-old man was shot while sitting inside his car close to Euston station.
The victim was in a white Nissan Juke on Chalton Street when the attack happened. Despite the swift response from paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services had rushed to the area around 11:00 p.m. following reports of gunfire. Investigators say CCTV footage shows a suspect arriving on a bicycle, opening fire, and fleeing the scene shortly after.
The victim’s family has been notified, with specialist officers providing support during what police described as an extremely difficult time.
Leading the investigation, Joanna Yorke assured the public that efforts are underway to track down the attacker and bring them to justice. She also appealed to anyone with useful information to come forward, either directly to the police or anonymously through Crimestoppers.
Authorities acknowledge the fear such an incident may cause but stress that they are actively working to resolve the case.
