Wizkid and Asake, two big names in Afrobeats, have officially dropped their collab project, Real Vol. 1, which people have been waiting for! It’s got four cool tracks.
The EP includes Turbulence, Jogodo, Iskolodo, and Alaye, mixing Wizkid’s vocals with Asake’s vibe. They told everyone about it on Instagram with a video that said, Real EP Vol. 1 ti jade bayi, and the internet went wild.
Before this, they dropped Jogodo on January 16. It blew up right away, getting over 1.3 million streams in one day on Spotify Nigeria. That’s a record for collabs on that platform. Jogodo also hit No. 1 in Nigeria and made it to No. 82 on the global chart, showing they’re getting known everywhere.
Real Vol. 1 is another musical moment for Wizkid and Asake, who’ve teamed up before on hits like “MMS” and “Bad Girl.” Every song on the EP brings their styles together, keeping the vibe fans love.
Both artists have killed it in 2025. Wizkid’s album Morayo got Apple Music Nigeria streams, and Asake’s “Why Love” was the most-streamed song all over. Now, their collaboration is cementing their spot in Afrobeats, at home and worldwide.
