The Los Angeles concert will be held at the http://Crypto.com Arena, with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time and the live broadcast expected to begin at 6:00 p.m. PT. The event forms part of a first-of-its-kind synchronised live concert series across the three host nations. Performances from Los Angeles will be linked with simultaneous events in Toronto, Canada, and Mexico City, creating a cross-border celebration of football, music, and culture ahead of the tournament.
FIFA described the series as a celebration of the passion, unity, and cultural diversity associated with the World Cup. “Los Angeles will play host to a high-energy celebration, featuring Diplo’s Major Lazer and Davido, the first artists announced for what promises to be an unforgettable night of music, football and culture,” the statement read. The global football body added that the concerts aim to connect audiences across Canada, Mexico, and the United States through music and shared excitement for the 2026 tournament.
The event adds another milestone to Davido’s career. He previously made history as the first African artist to perform at a FIFA World Cup closing ceremony during the 2022 tournament in Qatar. With the 2026 edition marking the first time the tournament will be hosted across three countries, his inclusion in the countdown concert series further cements his global influence.
Tickets for the Los Angeles concert go on sale from Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. PT. The concert will also be broadcast globally through FIFA’s digital channels, with an exclusive social media livestream on the official FIFA World Cup TikTok account. Full concert footage and behind-the-scenes content will be made available the following day on FIFA’s video-on-demand platform, VuMe Live.
FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Tournament Officer for the United States, Manolo Zubiria, said the countdown concert series reflects the unity and cultural connections that define the tournament. He noted that Los Angeles, one of the world’s foremost entertainment capitals, would deliver an unforgettable experience for football and music fans as the competition draws closer.
