Farrell, who oversees data privacy and cyber security, is expected to face questions from lawmakers about Chinese involvement in the short-video platform.
The hearing will be the first public testimony by a TikTok U.S. executive in the House since Byte dance completed a deal to separate the U.S. app from its global operations.
