The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Ade Adetimehin, said recently that the party’s current electronic membership registration is super important for getting ready for the 2027 elections.
Adetimehin said that this e-registration will really help the party get stronger before the election. He thinks it’s a key way to plan, get people involved, and make the party stronger in Ondo State and all over the country.
He mentioned this in his hometown of Idanre after renewing his membership. He pointed out that this will make sure the party has a real and trustworthy list of members. It will also make the party’s internal staff more fair and improve how the party works together at all levels.
Adetimehin is asking party leaders to get more people at the local level involved. He said it’s important to have good records to prove how many members the party actually has.
According to him, the process will add any new people. It will also update the info of current members, so everyone is counted correctly and can be part of what the party does.
“I want to ask all our party members to join in on this e-registration. If this goes well, it’ll help us plan and get people together as a party. I’m asking everyone to come out and register.
“As the main party in Ondo State and Nigeria, we need to show our strength by having a good record of our members. I also want party leaders to help get the word out at the local level,” Adetimehin said.
Adetimehin promised everyone would be treated fairly by the party. He also encouraged local and state leaders to get people to sign up, saying it’s easy and open to everyone.
He also said the party will fix any tech problems that come up. He wants to be sure everyone who wants to join can. He asked everyone at the party to act peacefully during the whole thing.
The APC chairman added that this e-registration shows that the party wants to change and use tech to make things more fair and get more people involved. He said that staying united and having good discipline are needed for the party to do well in the state.
Adetimehin said that the APC is all about what is right and fair for everyone. He promised that the party will keep the people involved in everything it does.
