Burna Boy Joins Shakira for Official 2026 FIFA World Cup Anthem “Dai Dai”
Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has been confirmed as one of the artists on the official anthem for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Burna Boy will feature alongside Colombian pop icon Shakira on a new song titled “Dai Dai.”
The track will be released on Thursday, May 14, ahead of the global tournament.
This is another big moment for Nigerian music on the world stage.
It also continues a recent trend. In 2022, Davido featured on the official World Cup song “Hayya Hayya (Better Together).”
Shakira confirmed the collaboration in a post shared from Maracanã Stadium.
She wrote:
“From Maracanã Stadium, here is ‘Dai Dai,’ the @FIFAWorldCup Official Song 2026. Coming 5/14. We’re ready! ⚽️🐺 @burnaboy”
Burna Boy, known for hits like Last Last and Ye, continues to grow his global influence through major international collaborations.
