Dangote Petroleum Refinery has achieved a significant milestone by exporting two cargoes of jet fuel to Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest oil producer.
This deal marks a major breakthrough for Africa’s largest refinery, positioning Nigeria as a key player in the global energy market.
The refinery, which began operations in 2024, has steadily increased its output to 550,000 barrels per day and is expected to reach its full capacity of 650,000 barrels per day by the end of the first half of 2025.
Aliko Dangote, Chairman of Dangote Group, expressed confidence in the refinery’s ability to meet its strategic objectives, emphasizing its commitment to delivering high-quality petroleum products to international markets.
