A serious road accident occurred on Saturday in Anambra State after a 40-foot container reportedly fell from a moving truck and crashed onto multiple vehicles.
Eyewitnesses said the container lost balance while the truck was crossing a bridge, leading to panic among road users. The heavy load reportedly landed on at least four vehicles, causing significant damage and injuring occupants.
Emergency responders and local residents rushed to the scene to assist victims and clear the wreckage. Injured persons were immediately taken to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
Traffic along the affected route was brought to a standstill for several hours as authorities worked to restore order and remove the damaged vehicles.
