According to Eyewitness, Kemi went to church on Sunday, January 18, 2026, and then went to work as usual on Monday. After work, she went back home.
On that Monday, she was supposed to join an online meeting with other executives at her company. But when it was time for the meeting, she didn’t answer her phone or respond to messages. This was unusual, so people started to worry.
Concerned, someone called the police. When the police arrived at Kemi’s house, they had to break down the door because no one was answering. Inside, they found Kemi had passed away. The initial thought from the coroner was a brain aneurysm, but this was later taken back because there wasn’t enough proof. The cause of death is currently unknown.
