Spokesman for FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Lere Olayinka, sparked fresh political chatter after an appearance on Arise TV’s “News Night” programme.
During the broadcast, Olayinka addressed ongoing friction between Wike’s camp and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership.
The exchange added to weeks of public back-and-forth between both sides over party direction and internal control.
Neither the PDP nor its National Chairman has issued an official response to the comments made on air.
The clash comes as the PDP continues to navigate internal disputes ahead of key political decisions.
Wike, a former Rivers State governor, has been a vocal figure in the party’s post-election realignments.
