LAGOS, NIGERIA — The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has granted the Lagos State Government a permanent operating licence to run and manage its rail services, marking a major development in the country’s transport sector.
The approval gives Lagos State full authority to operate its existing rail infrastructure, including the Blue Line and future expansions under the state’s rail masterplan.
