Air Peace Welcomes Nigeria’s First Embraer E175 Aircraft as Jet Lands in Lagos
The arrival of the Embraer E175 strengthens Air Peace's modern fleet and expands regional connectivity with enhanced passenger comfort and operational efficiency.
LAGOS, Nigeria – Nigeria’s largest airline, Air Peace, has taken delivery of the country’s first Embraer E175 aircraft, marking another milestone in its fleet expansion and commitment to improving regional air travel.
The aircraft, registered 5N-CGH, touched down in Lagos on Tuesday night and became the latest addition to Air Peace’s growing fleet of Embraer aircraft.
Designed for both comfort and efficiency, the Embraer E175 features a spacious two-by-two seating layout, ensuring every passenger enjoys either a window or aisle seat. The aircraft also offers generous legroom, a quieter cabin, and an overall improved onboard experience.
With the arrival of the E175, Air Peace further strengthens its partnership with Embraer. The new aircraft joins the airline’s existing fleet of E195-E2, E190-E1, and ERJ145 aircraft as part of its continued investment in modern aviation technology.
The acquisition is expected to boost Air Peace’s regional operations, enabling the airline to connect more destinations across Nigeria and West Africa while providing passengers with greater comfort, reliability, and efficiency.
Announcing the arrival, Air Peace described the aircraft’s landing as another significant step in its mission to expand connectivity across Nigeria and the region.
The airline welcomed the aircraft home with the message: “Welcome home, 5N-CGH. Let’s make memories in the skies!”
