ABUJA, NIGERIA — The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has officially commenced its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for 17 different positions across its officer, marshal inspectorate, artisan, and road marshal assistant cadres.
The recruitment portal opened on Friday, July 3, 2026, and applications will remain open until Friday, July 31, 2026. The corps said the entire recruitment process is free of charge, warning applicants against paying anyone claiming to facilitate employment in the agency.
Interested applicants can submit their applications through the official recruitment portal.

The FRSC is recruiting for the following positions:
- Deputy Route Commander (DRC)
- Superintendent Route Commander (SRC)
- Route Commander
- Assistant Route Commander (ARC)
- Marshal Inspector I
- Marshal Inspector II
- Marshal Inspector III
- Driver
- Plumber (Artisan and Tradesman)
- Tailor (Artisan and Tradesman)
- Instrumentalist (Artisan and Tradesman)
- Electrician (Artisan and Tradesman)
- Mechanic (Artisan and Tradesman)
- Motorcycle Rider
- Computer Operator (Artisan and Tradesman)
- Road Marshal Assistant III (RMA III)
- Road Marshal Assistant II (RMA II).

Application process
According to the FRSC, applicants are advised to carefully read the eligibility requirements and qualifications for their preferred cadre before submitting an application.
The corps also stressed that candidates should provide accurate information and upload all required documents through the online portal. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for screening and document verification. During the screening exercise, shortlisted applicants will be required to present printed copies of their application forms along with original credentials.
Warning against fraud
The FRSC warned prospective applicants that the recruitment exercise is completely free and urged Nigerians not to patronise fraudsters or recruitment agents demanding payment in exchange for employment.
The agency emphasised that all applications must be submitted exclusively through its official recruitment portal before the closing date.
Application deadline
The online application portal will close on Friday, July 31, 2026, after which no further applications will be accepted.
Applicants are encouraged to complete their applications well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
