His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, the Soun of Ogbomoso, recently received the high-end SUV at the palace, a development that has sparked excitement among residents and palace loyalists.

Sources close to the palace revealed that the newly delivered Cadillac Escalade, regarded globally as one of the most prestigious luxury SUVs, now joins another similar vehicle already in the monarch’s garage. The addition further elevates the royal convoy that accompanies the traditional ruler during official outings and ceremonial events.

The latest arrival was reportedly received with fanfare at the palace, with palace aides and visitors catching a glimpse of the gleaming vehicle as it rolled into the royal compound. For many observers, the moment symbolised the growing prestige of the ancient throne.
