43-Year-Old Nigerian Influencer Dies After Penis Enlargement Procedure in Thailand

British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known by the names Denisi and Ego, has died at the age of 43 after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure during a luxury holiday in Thailand.

According to evidence presented at an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court, Ubiribo underwent a cosmetic penis enlargement procedure at an unnamed clinic in Thailand in March 2026. Approximately 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected into his penis.

The procedure was later linked to a fatal pulmonary embolism, a condition in which a blood vessel supplying the lungs becomes blocked.

What happened after the procedure?

After undergoing the procedure, Ubiribo returned to his Marriott hotel in Bangkok with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen.

The couple subsequently went for a massage. During the massage, however, Ubiribo reportedly began experiencing chest pain and lost consciousness twice.

His condition alarmed those around him, and he was taken by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital in Bangkok.

According to evidence presented during the inquest, Ubiribo was initially conscious when he arrived at the hospital and was able to respond to questions.

His wife reportedly informed doctors that he had undergone the cosmetic procedure earlier that day. Doctors recommended further medical investigations, including a CT scan, but Ubiribo lost consciousness before the scan could be carried out.

Doctors diagnose pulmonary embolism

Doctors subsequently determined that Ubiribo had suffered a pulmonary embolism.

He was transferred to intensive care, where medical staff attempted to save his life. CPR was reportedly performed for more than 100 minutes.

Despite the prolonged resuscitation efforts, Ubiribo died in the early hours of March 6, 2026.

Postmortem examination provides crucial evidence

Following his death, a postmortem examination was conducted in the United Kingdom.

The examination reportedly found cellular material in his lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used during the cosmetic procedure.

A doctor from Sukhumvit Hospital, Dr Thongchai Chansirirattingkul, told the inquest that Ubiribo had received approximately 40 millilitres of penile filler earlier that day and had subsequently experienced two episodes of fainting while receiving the massage.

Based on the medical evidence presented, Coroner Jean Harkin concluded that the cosmetic treatment had caused the pulmonary embolism that resulted in Ubiribo’s death.

Who was Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo?

Ubiribo was a British-Nigerian businessman and social media personality who was known for showcasing a lavish lifestyle online.

Reports say he had around 185,000 Instagram followers and owned properties in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

He was married to fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen. The couple reportedly married in an elaborate ceremony in Zimbabwe in 2022.

His death has attracted considerable attention because of the circumstances surrounding the cosmetic procedure and the sudden deterioration in his health shortly afterwards.

Funeral and tributes

Ubiribo was later buried in London in an elaborate ceremony.

Among those reported to have attended the funeral were Nigerian music superstar Davido, celebrity businessman and socialite Cubana Chief Priest, and Pastor Tobi Adegboyega.

Davido reportedly paid tribute to Ubiribo, describing his death as difficult to accept and reflecting on the impact of his absence.

Warning over cosmetic procedures

The case has also raised questions about the risks associated with cosmetic penile filler procedures.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are used in some cosmetic procedures and can temporarily increase penile girth. Reports indicate that the effects can last several months.

However, medical experts have warned that complications can occur, particularly when cosmetic procedures are performed without appropriate medical safeguards.

In Ubiribo’s case, the coroner’s finding was that the filler procedure was responsible for the pulmonary embolism that ultimately caused his death.

The tragic case serves as a reminder that cosmetic procedures, even those sometimes marketed as minimally invasive, can carry serious medical risks.
