Nigerian social media personality and skit maker, DJ Chicken, has regained his freedom after being released from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos.
The content creator, whose real name is Ademola Abiodun, was granted bail by a Lagos Magistrate Court following his arraignment over alleged threats involving Seyi Tinubu.
He reportedly spent time in custody before meeting the conditions attached to his bail, which included a ₦1 million bond and two sureties.
Following his release, DJ Chicken spoke about his experience in detention, sharing his account of life behind bars with his followers.
The case, however, is not over. The court has adjourned the matter to August 3, when further proceedings are expected to take place.
DJ Chicken’s release has since generated reactions online, with fans and social media users welcoming his return while discussions surrounding the case continue.
