Deputy Inspector-General of Police Frank Mba has retired from the Nigeria Police Force following the appointment of Olatunji Disu as the new Inspector-General of Police by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
MBA’s retirement comes after Disu, who is his junior in the force, was appointed to lead the Nigeria Police. The development is in line with police tradition, where senior officers often step down when a junior officer is appointed as Inspector-General.
Frank Mba, a former Force Public Relations Officer, served in several strategic positions during his career and was widely known for his role in public communication for the Nigeria Police Force.
