The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Olaiwola Fatai, PSC, MNIPS, today received the Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof. Folashade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, and members of her management team on a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters in Ikeja, the Lagos state capital.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Command and the university to improve campus security and sustain peace within the university community. Both parties deliberated on proactive measures to ensure the safety of students, staff, and facilities, while fostering a secure environment for academic activities.
CP Fatai reiterated the Command’s commitment to partnering with key institutions to address emerging security concerns. Prof. Ogunsola commended the Command’s efforts and expressed the university’s readiness to work closely with the police to maintain law and order on campus.
The visit ended with a mutual pledge to deepen cooperation and intelligence sharing for a safer UNILAG community.
