Lagos Police Chief Hosts Thailand Embassy Delegation, Pledges Safety for Foreign Nationals
The Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, CP Tijani Fatai, welcomed officials from the Thailand Embassy to the Command Headquarters in Ikeja on May 27, 2026, for talks centered on the safety of Thai citizens in the state.
The delegation, led by Deputy Director-General Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, used the courtesy visit to congratulate CP Fatai on his appointment and to seek stronger security cooperation with the Lagos State Police Command.
Discussions focused on measures to protect Thai nationals living and working in Lagos, with both sides stressing the need for ongoing collaboration and quick response to any security concerns.
CP Fatai thanked the embassy team for the visit and reaffirmed the command’s commitment to safeguarding all residents, including foreign nationals.
