21-Year-Old Armed Man Killed at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Estate in Florida Identified
21-year-old man, Austin T. Martin from North Carolina, was shot and killed by US Secret Service agents and a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
Martin, who was carrying a shotgun and a fuel canister, breached the inner perimeter of the property around 1:30 am local time. He gained access near the north gate when a guest was leaving.
Trump wasn’t at Mar-a-Lago during the incident, and his whereabouts were reportedly at the White House. Authorities are investigating whether Martin bought the shotgun while driving from North Carolina, where his family had reported him missing on Saturday.
The FBI is leading the investigation, and officials are still trying to determine Martin’s motives. His family described him as a “good kid” who was a “big Trump supporter”
